What PetPool does
PetPool lets people and organizations post about adoption and host adoption drives. That is a community feature inside the social platform.
What PetPool does not do
PetPool Technologies does not take custody of animals. We are not a shelter, a rescue, a pound, or a broker. We are not a party to an adoption agreement. An adoption, if it happens, is between the people and organizations involved.
We do not inspect animals, homes, or health records as part of an adoption post. A post is not a guarantee of health, temperament, breed, age, or legal ownership.
Your responsibility
Follow the animal and adoption laws where you live, including any rule about selling or transferring animals, breeder licensing, and import. Do not request or offer money in a way those laws forbid.
Meet in a safe way. Ask for veterinary records yourself. Green Tick on a pet or a business is not an adoption approval.
Removal
We can remove an adoption post or drive that looks misleading, unsafe, or illegal. Report one from the product or by email.
