Community Guidelines
Last updated 18 October 2026
Draft pending lawyer review. This working draft was prepared for PetPool Technologies and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. It explains how PetPool intends to operate and may change.
The point of these guidelines
PetPool is a social platform. People post about pets, book services, message each other, and join events, contests, and adoption drives. These guidelines sit alongside the Terms of Service.
Animals
Do not post animal abuse, animal fighting, or content that encourages harm to an animal. Do not list a service you are not prepared to deliver safely. Urgent medical situations belong with a veterinarian, not only in a post.
Safety & animal welfare
PetPool has a dedicated Report animal abuse tool in the app. Reports are reviewed by the PetPool team.
If an animal is in immediate danger, contact local animal control, a humane society, or police (911 in Canada and the US).
People
Do not harass, threaten, or hound people. Do not post hate. Sexual content involving anyone under 18 is prohibited and will be removed and reported when the law requires it.
Do not impersonate another person, pet business, or rescue.
Honest use
Do not scam people, spam them, or review a service you did not use. Do not pretend a business has a Green Tick. The badge shows only when the subscription and, for businesses, service providers, and agencies, the verification check say it should.
Illegal content
Do not use PetPool to sell or promote illegal goods or services, including illegal drugs. Adoption posts must follow the Adoption disclaimer and local law.
Reports
You can report a post, message, or profile in the product. You can also email petpooltechnologies@gmail.com with links or screenshots. We review reports and can remove content, hide a listing, or close an account.
