Service Provider Agreement

This agreement

PetPool Technologies is a sole proprietorship operated by Tony Adieze, 4 Summer Wind Lane, Brampton, Ontario L7A 5J2, Canada. In these documents, “PetPool”, “we”, and “us” mean PetPool Technologies.

This agreement applies when you list or offer pet services on PetPool, including as a groomer, walker, sitter, vet, trainer, or other pet business. It supplements the Terms of Service.

You are independent

You are an independent provider or business. You are not an employee, partner, or agent of PetPool Technologies. You set your own service, within the law and these rules. You are responsible for your work, your staff, and your taxes.

Listings and bookings

Your listing must be accurate: what you offer, where, and the price in USD. Customers book through PetPool. Booking payments are processed by Stripe. You agree that PetPool may instruct Stripe to refund a customer under the Refund & Cancellation policy.

Cancel 24 hours or more before the booking starts and the refund is 100%.

Cancel less than 24 hours before the booking starts and the refund is 50%.

After the booking has started, the refund is none.

If the provider cancels the booking, the customer is refunded 100%.

Reviews

Customers may review a service they booked. Do not offer a reward for a review or post a review of yourself.

Green Tick

Green Tick is the only badge on PetPool.

Green Tick is optional. It is $10 USD/month or $100 USD/year. Businesses, service providers, and agencies (adoption/rescue, pet-sitting, dog-walking, grooming, training, staffing) pass a quick verification before their Green Tick shows. That check is the business name plus an ID or license photo. Green Tick includes boosted placement in search and the marketplace, featured marketplace spots, and profile stats.

The Green Tick Subscription Terms apply. You do not need a tick to list a service.

Licenses and insurance

You are responsible for any license, permit, or insurance your work requires. PetPool does not provide that insurance and does not confirm every credential except the Green Tick verification check when you submit it.

Conduct

Follow the Community Guidelines. Treat animals and customers with care. Do not take payment off PetPool in order to avoid a booking that started on PetPool, except where you and the customer genuinely need to for a reason the product cannot handle, and never as a way to dodge a refund.

Ending the agreement

You can stop listing services and you can ask us to delete your account. We can remove a listing or end access if you break this agreement, create a risk, or if the law requires it.

Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in Ontario.
